Yep- now we go GLOBAL.. WOW! What a night! I had an absolute blast and apparently I'm not a bad instructor because the paintings were all very good, too (pics below). What a great group! What a BIG group! Very energetic and very willing to follow me into the unknown.. The music created a loose and happy atmosphere and really made it a PARTY. The drawings also added a fun little twist and kept the night interesting. My wife, Carole, worked the back of the room, registered everyone, washed brushes, ran the drawings, and even helped with painting questions.. She really did a great job (thanks, C). While I got to act like a goof, do some painting, some talking, and drink some beer (Overall, we just wanted to make sure that everyone got to have the ARTIST EXPERIENCE while maintaining a fun vibe in that room last night.. Mission accomplished. As with all trial runs, there are a few bugs that need shook out for next time- Carole and I are already working on that- but the response was very positive and everyone had a great time creating their art. There will be more (MANY MORE!) of these PAINT PARTIES to follow, so if you missed the pilot episode, stand by and check back.. You will have your chance to PAINT and PARTY with us! Now, I need to get back to work and come up with another PAINTING for next time!

Well, I have been so busy prepping for the A-B-C PAINT PARTY that I almost forgot to post the latest mural work I have done.. This was a 2 wall project in Muncie at THE CHUG- yep, more liquor logo work. These walls were for JAGERMEISTER and another one for FIREBALL. I managed to get both of these monsters done in one day- 11'x3' JAGERMEISTER logo and a 9'x5' piece for FIREBALL. That old english style lettering is a little tricky at large scale, but it turned out great.. and that FIREBALL logo? I'm really getting the hang of that burnt background effect, and of course the demon logo is my type of art (looove those monsters!). So, obviously, the art offering for this entry is the wall work I did for THE CHUG.
