So, here we go:
This week's eye candy is my latest MURAL PROJECT, The WESSLER WALL.. Or as it became called on FB, the MURALTHON. I tried to complete this 450 sq ft project in 3 days- I didn't quite make it, but I gave it a hell of a run! All in all, I spent 30 hours on this monster project. Absolutley not bad, and only a bit over my projected time-table (mostly because one of my planned techniques didn't work as I intended). And, of course, it is my MASTERPIECE. The pics are below. I should also mention that the homeowner wanted the water to stop where it did.. It is not meant to be an edge-to edge piece.
Now, I FINALLY have the go-ahead on the next SAILOR JERRY piece for RICK'S CAFE BOATYARD, still working on the caricatures for BINKLEY'S, and planning for this year's NIGHTMARE ON HILLSIDE have begun. I am doing this thing called ART VS ART this weekend- pretty interesting concept for an art event- but more details to follow next time when I start hitting you all up for VOTES to get me into the competition!
Stay tuned!
